River's Edge Cottages at Morris Ranch

Comprising six private cottages on the riverfront and with direct river access, this one-of-a-kind vacation rental is ready for relaxation. Each cottage presents vaulted ceilings, a large front porch, and either a well-equipped kitchenette or a sparkling full kitchen. Several are also appointed with private hot tubs! You'll love the convenient setting within minutes from exploring famous Hill Country wineries after brunch on Main Street.
The Waterfront
Some activities on the full access waterfront include fishing, tubing, paddle boarding and canoeing (items not included). Sit and relax at the spacious seating areas along the waterfront as you unwind with your glass of wine and enjoy the big Texas Hill Country sunsets.
The Pavilion
Large enough to host family reunions and weddings, the Pavilion is a place for public, yet private outdoor lounging. Chairs and sectional couches with propane fire pits are perched under two large ceiling fans with an onsite public restroom as well. A propane BBQ grill encourages outdoor cooking opportunities while a game closet provides puzzles, bocce ball, bags and washers. There is also a regulation horseshoe pit nearby. Photo opportunities abound here, so don't forget to catch a selfie at the neon photo wall.
The Cottages
Each cottage includes a large front porch with comfortable seating to enjoy the Texas Hill Country scenery in style and privacy. Modern amenities beautifully join with the country atmosphere at River's Edge to get you out of town but without the sacrifice of comfort. Full Wi-Fi at each cabin allows you to stay connected, which is helpful to make reservations in town or at the wineries.
The Area
Wineries, breweries, distilleries, award-winning restaurants, shopping, museums and more await your visit in Fredericksburg! The closest winery is only 10 minutes from the River's Edge Cottages, or you can arrange for private transport without the worries of driving. There is plenty to keep your day full of activities in the area or at the ranch!
Six newly built cottages on the Pedernales Riverfront with private hot tubs
Newly constructed in 2022, River's Edge Cottages is a quiet property where farmhouse meets luxury. Located along the spring-fed Pedernales River, you can launch a kayak or water float for an afternoon adventure, or stroll the riverside walking trails carved out by local wildlife!

Dotted with hammocks and swings, this waterfront oasis is bordered by ranches with photogenic horses, goats, sheep, donkeys, and llamas. Perfect for group gatherings, a large, covered pavilion features comfy furnishings, a bathroom, and a backdrop wall for photos. This country setting presents the ideal spot for stargazing under big Texas skies.

The Mimosa, Verbena, Primrose, and Bluebonnet cottages are configured with a luxe private hot tub. The Mimosa and Primrose cottages have two bedrooms with a full kitchen, while the Bluebonnet and Winecup cottages have one bedroom with a kitchenette (sink, full-size fridge, microwave, Keurig, countertop skillet, and toaster).
